Hey all done with my bonus on PP so looking to change tribeca skin . have heard good things about this . A few questions :

Should i wait until after the upcoming merger to create my account? (will this merger affect bonuses etc)

Is Rakeback available?

VC have a cracking 750$ bonus for first time users - and you have until April 20th to clear it.

Not at all.

The merger will be as swift and painless as possible. No point asking for dates when it is going ahead as everthing is provisional.

We had a meeting with the Playtech guys and I'm very happy with the results of that meeting. My job is more on the technical side so I'll let Mike speak for the poker/bonus side of things
(read: I was getting my third cup of coffee and feeling sorry for myself when it was discussed because SOMEONE organised a 10am meeting and we were out until 5am playing cards in London the night before. Thankfully SOMEONE also cleared out the londoners and then dumped it all on me on the second last hand so it that was nice...)

Imho the interface is better, its not without its flaws but then I really dislike the tribeca interface so it wouldnt be hard to improve on it. The backend is far far superior and will give us the freedoms we need to be a LOT more innovative about things. So, lots will change and in a sense nothing will change. We will still offer an innovative loyalty system and offer personal support for new and existing customers alike </pimp>

Does the new interface have an option to minimize for multitables like party and UB ?

It has some options for greatly reducing the size of a table (much like Prima). I dont recall if it has "stretchable" or "tileable" windows. I'll see if I cant get it from somewhere and give it a trial.

Just tried it there. The windows are not stretch/tile-able. but you can set an option which resizes them so that 4 will fit on a 1024 screen.

Things I like are:
Pretty customisable interface
When it says "raise 50" it raises the total to 50 , not 50 on top of what is already bet.
Far far clearer interface with things like the pot size marked on the slider bar so you can judge things better and better labelling for buttons (which are larger).
The buddy system is linked in with the notes system and ignore feature all on the table rather then a different window etc.


Things I dont like:
Avatars (you can turn them off).
Noisey (you can customise that or turn it off too).

Can't tell you about game selection, quality or variety but it should be the biggest EU facing network when VC, BSQ and PPP move to it.

Players would like to have some idea what will happen to half completed bonuses though! Any thoughts? (that's more of a VC, DR and possibly PPP question than GJP but it's be good if there was any info)

I presume it is skin dependant but we are not in the business of saying you have x amount of time to finish a bonus and then cutting it short because we have to change network so if you have a half completed bonus it will carry over when we merge.

The same applies to action points, they will be converted in as fair a manner as possible.

Does the new software have a "You folded X,Y.." display...?I find you get very used to this when playing on tribeca.
