comp wont accept that its pluged in

    right, my mate got a ipod nano, i set up his bros on this computer also about 2 weeks ago, now the computer isn't even noticing that theres a mp3 player plugged in and dosnt do anything, ive tried restarting and everything? any ideas?

    for got to say, the ipod charges when its pluged in, and other things work from the same usb port

    is the ipod software installed on the pc/mac?
    is the ipod showing up as an external drive in my computer?

    yes the software is installed, and nope, nada, the computer wasn't responding in anyway, i reset the ipod and it seamed to work then. thanks for your help!
