    Hi,

Anyone know where I could get lime leaves in South Dublin? Making a Thai Green Curry paste from scratch and need lemongrass and lime leaves. I know I've seen lemongrass in Superquinn but not the lime leaves. I know I could go to the Asia Market or some of the Oriental supermarkets down on Mary Street but I don't want to go all the way into town. I'm in Sandyford. Come to think of it, is there any type of Asia Market in the area or deli that would do them i.e. Cavistons?

Sorry, can't help with the where....

But if you can find them in an asian supplier, buy plenty and freeeze them.

They will last for years. Because they are waxy, the leaf doesn't scorch or suffer from frost bite when frozen.

They are not indestructible, but I have kept a bag in the freezer for over a year. The plants are now available at specialist garden centres and will do well indoors on a window ledge or in a conservatory.

    Good luck

Hells Belles, once is enough to answer the question, don't post your question to multiple forums.

You're new here, so I fixed the mistake, but now you know how it works, thanks.

If you're in Sandyford do a quick run in on the Luas & get down to the Asian Market on Drury Street. They have lime leaves there.
