why does b-st not start at 4pm or 3pm or something,
it will be an 11 finish, some are later, and some are early. It can be annoying i agree, i've started driving in on a tuesday so that i dont have to donkaway chips to get it over fast.
I agree 3 or 4 would be better, but alot of b-st players hav classes ibn the 3-4 and 4-5 slots, so 6 start gets the most players in. I sometimes qustion their commitment, putting studys before poker.

I am going to try get them to play the 75 level, haven't got an answer yet, thats why I left it out of the OP, as it may not be there.
I'll mssage the society (im not actually on it) and see if I can convince them to change it to a 4 start with 75/150

And Aodea, we do cater for cripples, one of our regulars has been on crutches (sp?) all year.

you drive in for the same reasons that those who dont have a car wont play it. we start our games at 3 or 4 at the latest, and if that means some people miss out due to clash with studies so be it... better to put on a good toureny for 20 people that a crapshoot for 50.

Agree with the above, and not having 75/150 is simply disgracefull, I'll take the aungierr st 15e quality freezeout over this tripe any day ;)

    ....

I know your intentions are good here lads but this is simply crapshoot pub tournament poker which will be avoided again and again if you keep the structure the same.:(

i pushed with a draw into a pot that was more than my stack, and got called by some chump with ace high, he deserved to lose the hand... and to quote after said chump after making the call "i know i'm behind but... <insert some derisory remark>" ... and if im not gonna get emotionally attached to Q5 what will i get emotionally attached to!?!?
