I enjoyed BOTF allot (Birth of the federation) I am looking for a very similar game, empire management but not RTS, turn based strategy game. Space combat is preferable, planet conquering ect Galactic domination being the goal of the game Cheers

Galactic Civilizations 2 is very good. There's an expansion pack for it out soon too.

Birth of the Federation is one of my all time favourite games.

Too bad that it gets really sluggish as the Galaxy starts to get busy.

I'll have to give Galactic Civilizations a try once I have my PC up and running again.

we should get a boards game of BOTF going we would have enough, monty might even play i think dev and blitzcreig played it as well. Im sure there is loads more people who would play it as well
