I keep getting this problem when my PC has been left on for a while and when I reboot the mails will now usually send and I can once again open web pages. My connection is wireless and this happens on more than one network connection. It's getting very frustrating!
    Any ideas?

if u are using a router try put your internet connection directly into your laptop and see if the problem still arises.

Quite likely your laptop is sending the wireless card to sleep.

Go into advanced properties of the wireless card and change power management to none, if possible. This will cause increased power usage, and thus lower battery life, but it should resolve the problem.
