Casio EX-S500

    Dont know if anyone can help with this... Bought a refurbished Casio EX-S500 from Ebay. Works out but a couple of problems

    1) When I plug it into a USB drive to recharged it creates a "Power Surge" on my USB meaning that it won't work with my computer, so I have had to buy a USB SD card reader in order to get my photos onto my computer.
    2) Everytime I turn it off the damn thing resets all settings, time, date, format etc.

    Any help would be much appreciated!!

    something like that sounds like something is fried in the circuitry - and if it is, it's probably expensive to fix.
