I know it's not the right thread for this kind of question but...

...could anyone possibly tell me what is the chance for a foreign student (no native speaker) to be accepted for English combined with philosophy? I mean- is there any chance at all? I'm taking the International Baccalaureate with English Literature on higher level, if this helps. But honestly- do you know of any foreigner accepted for English?

I sort of must apply today...

Here is what the Admissions office say you have to achieve in your Bac to come to Trinity.

It also says here that if English isn't your first language then you need to provide evidence of English language proficiency.

So basically as long as your grades are high enough you can study whatever you want.

Your English is very good by the way.

Yep. As long as you have relative fluency in the language you'll be fine, and they'll probably want a particular grade in your IB English Lit apart from the points requirement (but you'll probably need above that grade anyway to fulfil the points requirement... *g*), but, yeah, it's not like they have an anti-non-native speakers policy or anything, they're just very insistent on the fact that they don't teach English as a foreign language in the school.
