hh from a tourney recently, i have had AK twice so far raised hit my king on the flop and ended up laying it down to 2 poxy pair both times,I also had jacks and aces. These are the only 4 hands iv played in 4 levels. The table has no concept of position or any observational skills as they fold to loose players and call tight players.

Blinds at 100/200 with a 25 ante. its the last hand before the break. iv got about 9k the two villians have over 20k each.

one limper i raise to 1000 with AKs and get two callers out of position

    flop comes KdQh6d (pot 3500ish)

checked twice to me, i bet 1500.
    One caller,

Turn is Kc ( pot 6500ish)

checked to me again, i bet 2500 (opinions?)

    flat call again.

    river is 5d (pot 11500ish)

    villian "puts me all-in"

Call or fold leaving me with 4k which should be enough with blinds at 150/300/50 next level to find a spot and hope for a double up as the table will call with marginal hands

Your trips are prob beaten by flush draw being filled on river, i think you bet it to weak given the pot size on flop and turn and have ended up trapping yourself and allowed villian to hit his flush (may have had a straight draw also with AJ suited or something) for me it is a fold.

Bet more on every street, It would probably change the way the hand played out, as played I think you are behind, Set on flop, badly played KQ or Flush/Straight draw are all possibilities. Obviously betting more on each street would/should rule out the draws.

I don't think I can fold here for a 1/3 pot bet. Bet more on the turn.

folding now would just make things even worse, call and expect to lose.

I dont play big bet poker i like to make bets which enable me to get away from hands if i feel im behind while still offering the wrong odds for draws and such to call.

if i shove the turn what can i expect to be ahead of if i am called. aces maybe but nothin else that im ahead of will call therefore im probably drawing to 3 outs on the river.

if he hit he flush why would he push surely he'd check it and let me bet out as it seems im pretty much committed to the hand?

Big Bet Poker is just a name for PL and NL games.
If you don't play Big Bet Poker you play Limit.

bet more everywhere after pf, call now. I'd probably bet double what you did on every street.

Dont have a problem with the 1000 preflop.
1500 on the flop is the problem IMO. Wwaaayyy too small on that draw heavy board. Your offering 5000/1500 (3.33/1) for anyone drawing.
    Turn bet too small also.
I probably pot the flop, and push the turn (6.5k left).
As played looks like a rivered flush but I'd prob call for last 4k and be annoyed that I let him get there. Always the slim possibility of a smaller king.

I'd have been All-In before the river. But as played you have to call.

never ever ever ever play the last hand before a break
