I saw this being spammed on boards just an hour ago but it actually looks pretty good. Has anyone used it before or have any experience with it?

there's a video in that link above that explains it, what a waste of a laptop though:(

    Interesting ...

ok .. the performance is the thing that gets me ... it seems a bit too fast ...

    I'd almost download the demo :D ...

Basically sounds like running a VM from your USB 2.0 device ... I would have assumed data transfer rates would be down a bit though ...

For an open source alternative ... take a look at ...
    http://portableapps.com/

its quite cool as well ... :) .. get your firefox / thunderbird / openoffice / sudoku :D ... running from your portable device ..

Been using it - it's not great. Needs to be refined.

Very surprised they were spamming it, its meant to be a legitimate operation.

It's being spammed across literally every board I post on. New user, first post, wondering can anybody 'advise' him on what Mojopac is like, with a link to the home page. Coincidently, of course, the user never returns after this initial post.

A freebies are always welcome:) What's the story with that one though? Do you need to download all new "portable" software for it to work properly?

not cheap for what it is and the serial number thing seems to be designed to irriate

and it depends on getting someone to trust you on their machine

I'm sure people on the unix forum would find the concept of virtualisation space to run your apps very old hat.

    330 hits on http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&q=%22Help+on+converting+USB+Flash+drive+into+PC%22&btnG=Search&meta=
and it's immoral to buy from spammers.

    Take a look at http://portableapps.com/suite

You just need the base app ... its very cool IMHO ...
    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/portableapps/PortableApps_Suite_Base_1.0.exe?download

The base app is I think 1mb in size or thereabouts ...
