i plan to start a photo blog sometime in Feb -- no text , just upload a new photo every day for a year -- i was thinking of getting a Pro flickr account, then ceating a new set called "baz_blog" , then adding my photo every day -- as i'm not using text , is there any reason why i'd need an additional external blogger ?

Depends what size you'd want tod isplay the pictures at, and if youw anted control over the background and an easy way to navigate through them - having a separate blog for this would also allow you to upload other pictures to your flickr account and not include them in the blog... if that makes any sense?

Well if you ever want to rant about your photos or expand on a point, a blog can be perfect, in truth. The link to mine's in my sig, but I've cut down a little on posting recently as I've been taking less photos through the winter.

Thanks -- i think i'll proceed with my idea of using a flickr set to record the daily photos, and NOT utilise an external blogger -- i really want to minimise text , but i can also add a comment using flickr -- and i'm sure if needs be i can use an external blogger, if i see a requirement for one later on !
