Poor Service from MusicStore

    here's the story lads,
    i decided to order a digital drum set from musicstore for my little brother birthday. Mailed them on friday (1/26/07) n told i need it before the 5th of Feb. So i get this from Jens
    Hi,
    we would ship your order on monday and you´d have it before the next weekend.
    Price is 142,- EUR incl vat & shipping.

    So i'm thinkin sweet and go ahead and order it. So Monday comes..... its gettin late so i mail em to see if it will ship. No response. Tuesday morning i'm mail em again.... nothing. I mailed three more times and nought. So i'm thinkin if it doesn't ship today i'm f8cked. It ain't gonna arrive before the weekend like Jens said it would. Man it sucks bigtime. it was a surprise and i was hoping to get it by the weekend as i'm going on holidays and won't be there for my brothers bday. I'm pretty pee'd off.

    I can't remember getting any e-mail replies from musicstore, phonecalls are the only way to go with them. Keep your customer number handy and be prepared for someone else to answer first who will put you through to Jens.

    i am gonna ring em tomorrow, but since i didn't a mail with my tracking no. for parcel, i doubt it will have shipped.....

    send Jens my regards! i had a 6 email conversation with him regarding gear goin on over 2 weeks and ended up canceling the order in the end

    they lost my acount info too

    so i said feck it

    They're not great with email it seems. I ordered from them about 3 or 4 years ago. Rang up, ordered without any problems and had my stuff delivered about a week later. Very happy with their service

    Good bloody luck. Been trying to buy a bass off them that doesn't appear in their main catalogue for a few weeks now. Have rang on at least 7 or 8 occassions and can't manage to get through. When the automated message play at the beginning I asked to speak to somebody in German, got through within a minute. Told them I wanted to talk in English, they spoke perfect English but I still had to be transfered to somebody dealing with exports to Ireland. She tried connecting me but said it was busy and to try again later. It's been busy for a bloody month at this stage.

    I think it's a case of Music Store getting to be such a big operation, Jens doesn't physically pack and ship your order - that's done in a different building in a different part of the city AFAIK. He just processes the orders and I've been dealing with him years, chances are he's emailing and calling his colleagues on your behalf but not getting any response.

    Still nowhere near good enough for such a large company but it's never gonna be perfect where human beings are concerned. They made a balls of my last 2 orders, minor things but irritating all the same. Obviously some stoner in the shipping factory who couldnt be arsed double checking the box before sealing :rolleyes:

    Well just an update guys, Jens emailed today saying they had everything in my order except the drum sticks. So i ordered on Friday, and it took till frickin Wednesday to tell me they didn't have any in stock. Bloody ridiculous.
    They said they'd ship today if i choose a different pair in stock or cancelled em. So i said right give me a different pair. Guess what... No response!!!
    So i'm left here in friggin limbo land not knowin whether its been shipped or not. (Most likely not). I have to say they are a big let down 4 me. I wouldn't mind so much if it were 4 me but since its a present...... well you know.
