chatty irish poker pro's needed (idea in development)

I got an email today (about six minutes ago) asking for DIT Poker Soc to re-apply for our budget. So we need reasons to spend money, here's what i was thinking.... GUEST SPEAKER!!!

I figure we could get a lecture hall at 5 or 6pm on a tuesday, for a 2 hour talk about poker, and in return we buy you into the 100 DC in the jackpot just up the road at 8pm. We'll provide crisps and sandwiches too!

Anyone interested in being put up on stage and asked lots of questions? LuckyLloyd has to do it or i'm not talking to him, he'll be talking about his drogheda experience and going from 5 euro home games to lots of dosh!

(also, potentially the clubs and socs people in dit will only give us a few quid which instead of a direct buy in will the prize in a last longest bet between anyone who comes in for a chat!)

this idea i came up with about 4 minutes ago, so will probably need some fine tuning.

Sounds like fun. Would certainly be happy to be part of a panel, not that I'd get a word in edgewise with Masters anyway. I'm sure himself and IrishRobbie would be up for this too. Sure what else would we be doing of a Tuesday evening?

this will be open to anyone and everyone!! DIT poker soc will provide tea and sandwiches!

currently thinking of having a panel of some sort, one or two pro's (kp and nfr and dave m???), lloyd has said he'll do it too which will be good to have a successful student player taking part. Im working on getting a host/commentator aswell. so that could be our panel of 4 plus one commentator. free admissiojn of course for anyone who wants to see it.

is there a date or a specific day that suits everyone? suggestions for time of day too, probably 5ish after lectures, college closes at 9.30ish. sometime between those hours?
