Well Manchester has won the super casino in the UK. Might be a good place to visit short hop to Dublin.

Could be good to take some of Wayne Rooneys cash !!! Lots of Football teams close to Manchester might be a good place for dead money ;-)

    More at the beeb

Wrong, there are several highly regulated casinos in the UK. Manchester will be the first "supercasino" similar to Vegas casinos.

Going to Ayr & Edinburgh over the next month. Can anybody recommend somewhere to play in either city ? Do you still have to pre-register 24 hours in advance of attending a casino in Scotland ?

I played in the Stanley Casino in the centre of Edinburgh, kip. Supposed to be a nice one somewhere outside the city. Played in the Vic in London recently and there was no mention of the 24hr thing so think thats been done away with. Have a look at Grosvenor or Stanley websites, theyll mention it.

You can see a map of the future locations of the regional, large, and small casinos on page 10 of the casino advisory panel's report:

Why does it have to be so close to The Theater of Nightmares.
