I had a game for the C64 called "Death Race 2000"

It consisted of a very chunky sprite careering down a straight race track with red and white rumble strips on the side. Every so often another race car would appear that you caught up on and you would overtake.

It was poor...mile after mile of straight road with the occassional "opponent" to avoid hitting. No time targets to beat to get to the next stage, no next level, no choice of car colour, no end to the straight track...just keep the joystick pressed forward, move it left or right to avoid hitting the other cars and keep doing os until you crashed.

So Boring

Terrifing. Some chimp actually played it too. I wonder why such a thrilling game was cancelled?
