Im just after instaling a new cosyman boiler to my extension and all the pipe work is ok the problem is there seems to be no pressure in the system (which is a open vented system) and there is a gurgling sound in the pipes where they branch off to the rads like there is air in the system some where was just wondering what is the best way to sort it out Thanks

I have something like this at the moment, may be relevant but i'll give you the info.

My pressure is hovering on zero and I couldn't figure it out, but it turns out that I am leaking water from what I think is the pressure release valve i.e. a little red knob near your boiler that says '3 bar max'. From what I understand this is meant to open if the pressure in the heating gets to much and is linked to a pipe that sticks out the side of the house. Turns out that this is slightly open therefore leaking water outside and letting more water into the system resulting in no pressure.

Never noticed the leaking before as its around the side of the house that I never have cause to be at.
