Just a pity I'm in Galway...

    Hey OP,

I'm a member of that website and I never get the notices re: screenings.

What did you put in for 'postcode' on the application? When I emailed SeeFilmFirst help, they said the notices were sent out based on Postcodes.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Aidan

I'm afraid I can't help, I saw this on hotukdeals. I signed up for the emails too but never got any notices, an idea just struck me though, maybe pick one of the cineworlds in the uk and use it's address, then hopefully they'll send notices that include Dublin....

For anyone going be prepared to be searched.

    Just got this email...

""Please note that as this film has not been released yet, there will be strict anti piracy controls in place at the screening. This will involve a bag search and mobile phones will not be permitted in the auditorium. The security will place phones in safe keeping until after the screening if you do bring one with you.

We hope that you will enjoy the film.""

It's sh*t that all these films are out in Blanchardstown now, there's never any in Cineworld lately. I work in town and would never be able to get out to Blanch for 6.30 :-/

I'm going to this tomorrow evening and I'll be f*cked if I'm handing over my phone or letting security search me.

They never search you. I been to a few of these early screenings and sometimes I have even got in without the ticket.
So no big security checks before.

Got these tickets last week and now am unable to go.
Email mentioned bring identification along with ticket. Do they check this
as I now want to give tickets to a mate.

the last screening i was at 'notes on a scandal' no-one even checked our tickets. however with this one i presume someone will be checking as they're looking for you to leave your mobile phone outside, that said i'd be fairly sure that they won't look for id the voucher itself would suffice, just get your mate to plead ignorance (never got the email saying id was required).
