Do you think there'll be a patch or a fix to enable or emulate it? Prospect of no more C&C lan games is enough to put me off the entire OS!

Jaysus, do Novell even use IPX any more??

I'm sure one of the many oldskool C&C addicts out there will write an IPX stack for Vista eventually, or you could always use VMWare to run an older version of Windows.

Keep an XP dual boot? Methinks youll want it for more than just IPX...

Nevermind that, do Novell even exist anymore?

I'm sure you'll see either Microsoft, Novell, or some crazed German 17-year old write an IPX stack for Vista in the next 6 months.

Shame really, IPX/SPX was light years ahead of TCP/IP in its time (15 years ago!).
