So, after getting the 400d I figured that I might as well start and take some pictures with it. Now, I realise I have so much to learn. While I love the camera, I definately have to learn how to shoot a picture without relying on the auto, as light is an issue. Also, must learn how to take photos in RAW....Ah, so much to learn! (but will have fun learning it....)

However, I thought, seeing as it was my first attempt I'd see what anyone else thought....

They are nice shots but just underexposed. Do you have photoshop elements or CS2? as you can adjust the levels to brighten them up a bit.

The only way to learn is to keep taking pictures, sure I'm still learing after many years.

Couple of grand poses of the dog

I hope you don't mind but I just did a quick tweak of the levels in the first one to bring out the dog a bit better

Thanks CrowdedHouse, she looks a lot clearer with the brighter level. I have photoshop elements somewhere on my pc, so will go and tinker with the photos.

Thanks for the good feedback, she's a mutt of a dog, but great for not been consious about me taking photos of her! My favourite is the 2nd one, but I also love the no feet on the ground 3rd one! (and no, she didn't give back the stick.)

    Thanks again for the feedback.
