    Hiya Lads

This is my first weekend breakway, first time in Italy and at the same time went with passion to take good decent photos - and learning with point and shoot digital camera FujiFilm FinePix F11.

Having limited controls over aperture and all that these are the results that I pick up to share with ya boardsie. Comment and complaint but be little nice :D My first time asking around hehehe :

    Photo 1
    Photo 2
    Photo 3
    Photo 4
    Photo 5
    Photo 6
    Photo 7
    Photo 8
    Photo 9
    Photo 10

Not many night photos look good as too much noise captured, I had tried using lower ISO thou.

All photos are not touched, were only reduced in size. EXIFs data remain intact.

    Cheers
    Mart

All great shots I think you got the composition in most of them spot on, number 3 is my favorite even tho I dont like the fact the foreground is a bit dark but thats just me :P

    cheers lads.

i wish i could have taken more "memorable" or unique shots. :o

it wasn't easy thou to get some of those angles. without a wide lens or tilted screen, i had to roll or lay on the road surface :p

has started looking around, possibly a D-SLR kit :D. i miss the old EOS 300 i had few years ago.

Haha, yeh, I remember the days when the only tripod I had was one of those mini ones.. Was laying on a set of steps trying to capture a building with loads of people walking around. Well worth investing in a proper tripod!

Some nice shots there, I like 3 + 9 and I like what you were doing with 4 + 6 too.

Just keep snapping away and you'll get used to it and find what you like. When you're looking at other peoples photos try and find why they look so good; diagonals? rule of thirds? angles? abstract? You can use the same angles too and get some impressive results!

mart_max thank you for the pictures. That reminded me of my trip to those places in 2004. I just regret I was too busy to spend enough time with my camera wandering around.

    That's mine anyway:
