Bladder Infection

So was away with me bird on Saturday night. We had a lot of sex in a twelve hour period and now this morning she has a bladder infection. She's looking after it anyway so nothing to worry about there. But she seems to think it's from too much sex and I think it may be down to something else. Basically we did a good bit of swopping from anal to vaginal sex and I figure this may have increased the risk of an infection. Am I right? Should we not be doing this?

    Ya think?

It's not the smartest move man and can lead to infection, for obvious reasons.

even leaving anal/oral thing....bladder infections can actually quite common in sexually active woman.. Tell her to make sure she empties her bladder after sex, that can helps wash out particals which can cause infection.

but adding to that...you should never have vaginal sex after anal unless you clean up first......any doctor will tell you that....

Yeah I tried telling her but she doesn't really listen. We are both sparkling clean beforehand anyway. I'll sit her down and have a talk with her.

I seem to have become prone to UTI's lately so I shall pass on the advice that has worked for me.

    1) She needs to try and pee a little before and a little straight after sex (it need only be a few drops it all helps)

    2) Drink lots of water and/or cranberry juice.

    3) Do NOT mix anal to vaginal sex without there being a THOROUGH cleaning in between or CAREFULLY exchanging barrier contraceptives.

    4) Wear cotton knickers.

You can get UTI's from lots of sex, wearing tights a lot or well there's a host of other reasons but I think you get my point.

Always wash your hands and fingers before sex, and change condoms or put one on before double dip. Cystitis is not pleasant for your partner. Get her to drink plenty of cranberry juice, Make sure the cranberry juice is 100% juice, actually both of you drink the cranberry juice the infection has a bit further to travel up your UT, but it can happen.

Then see your GP for antibiotics, It's important to take the antibiotics until the prescription is finished. Many people stop taking the medication when they begin to feel better, but that doesn't allow the antibiotics to completely kill the bacteria, which increases the risk that the infection will reappear.

Please note this is not medical advise, and not intended to be.... just a few remarks

Cystitis isn't called 'Honeymooners Disease' for nothing y'know?

Its the lots of sex that caused it I'd say. I've seen it happen often.

    4) Wear cotton knickers.
It all made sense, to here. WTF with the cotton knickers?

They are more absorbant and don't make your gentials sweat as much as nylon or combined fabics. The less damn and moist the less likely the infection will fester and return.
