:D Yes. My M92 from EHobby arrived today. Was opened by customs but did not seem to have been fired. As expected no gas came with it but a small box of white BB's did. The packaging was turned inside out for some reason but was well packed in bubble wrap. The gun itself made by KJW has a lovely realistic feel to it. It is railed for accessories under the barrel. Full metal including the mag. As I was putting in the gas a little escaped. The action of the slide was solid and when fired it made a nice sound and recoiled very well. Firing out of the box was spot on and needed no adjustment. This is gun well worth buying.

It was $85.99 and $30 shipping. Out of everything I bought from them it was the only item they charged more then the US shipping on it.

97 euro for a full metal pistol.

I sure wouldn't say no to that.

Nice pistol alright, especially for that price.

When i got my glock before xmas from UNC the box the stuff came in was also turned inside out. i think it was a UPS box but EMS were selected to ship it.

Could be that EMS got UPS to ship it for them coz they couldnt take anymore packages while UPS had space over.

No, the muzzle velocity is less than 1 joule.

It was the actual packaging of the gun that was turned inside out.

In your case they prbably did not have any EMS box's so just turned a UPS inside out and used that. I used to work in a factory and we used to do that all the time.

maybe they did that to disguise what was in it?
    Dont ask why though.

    Anyone ever use www.bbguns.co.uk ?

    Would something like this :

    http://www.bbguns.co.uk/816_1_2015317.html

have no problems getting through customs, the power output is only 0.5 joules max?

It would have no trouble, but it's only a springer (one shot, reload, repeat). There's a load of threads about the basics of airsoft if you want to have a read of them mate.

If you're interested in buying a proper gun for the sport, then look around here. Best site around!

That gun would bore you to death. What you want is an AEG. Fully automatic fun :)

that is the exact m4 i started airsoft with last year
its stock broke off in battle the second time i skimished with it and the rails too came apart. the rd dot sight is non adjsutable and the foregrip snapped off with 3 weeks of getting the gun.
i would jsut save up for a few more weeks and get an entry level aeg. might as well start off with somthing that wont break in a fight

Thats my exact M92f. Its beautiful and you'll have LOADS of fun with it. When you remove the slide, you'll see that down from the recoil spring there is a "silver box" type thing just infront of where the bb's are loaded. Theres a small hole in it, you use the alan key you got with it to adjust the hop up there.

I thought it looked familiar all right ;)
Great recoil and noise from the slide. Really feels powerful.

Well got the rest of my stuff today. Two packages and no duty to be paid. My MP5K is a lovly piece of kit. The battery was a bit hard to get into it starting off. It has an unusual problem where you you empty a mag it leaves three rounds in chamber which fall out when you take off the mag. Other then that its brill. Nothing like the cheap SIG I bought in Salou last year. All my other stuff came as well. BDU, drop leg holster, tactical vest, helmet, gloves and goggles. There was a problem with the high cap mag and Keith in RSOV said he will send a new one to me the next time I order from him. So am well happy. ROF seems pretty good. Going to buy a can of coke tomorrow and see how that goes. The BB loading tool is cool. Could do with ten more of them. All round am very please with my first purchase.:D

Don't worry, that's pretty standard in every AEG. Even the more expensive ones. Quite annoying, I know.

Nice gun anyway. You'll love what it does to cans :)

Going to keep on the stock. Dont like it without. But it compliments the M9 very nicely.

Is the MP5K PDW metal? What company makes it? Thats one of the guns that I really want to get.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,314 ✭✭✭Fiach Dubh

    It's made by GALAXY.

Ot has some metal prts. Where the but joins the main body is a big metal hinge. The hooks for the sling are metal. Front sights, trigger and barrel are also metal as well as the high cap mag. It feels nice and weighted. A bit fiddley to fit the battery as you have to remove the foregrip and the stock, but to charge it you just need to remove the foregrip. Any questions dont hesitate to ask.

While i was looking on another forum someone said they ask keith from rsov and he got him a metal body for the m5pk :O

Must check with him. Going to order 2 mags and he is going to replace one for me that was bust on arrival. Metal body would go down well.:D

I test fired both the MP5K and the M9. Up until now I used a double thick cardboard box to collect spent ammo with my cheap guns. At 20 ft the BB's which I belive to be .20g ripped through the box and out the other side. I thought I was missing the box because the bb's were ricocheting. Then I picked up the box and found the holes in the back.

BFSL is an Irish seller in dublin who has a stock of gas. Either get in contact with him, order from the UK or buy a propane adapter and use propane.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 960 ✭✭✭Harekin

BFSL's number is 0868756754. Just so you dont have to look for it. I believe his name is Derek, right?
