When I was in res last year, I never paid for the second semester but they never shut off the connection. Got a free semester of internettage. Ahhh, good times!

The whole issue of paying for the internet in res has always annoyed me. I mean outside the inital cost of the wiring required for the service in the buildings, given that CSD/HeaNET provide the connection I really can't see anyway they can justify it.

They give free wireless connection and then block it from the res they are some stingey b*stards!!
Just connected for the first time there about an hour ago, no more library woohooo Ah who needs books.....
