    Does anybody know what happened between Considine and Davy Fitz??? Clares chances are really limited without him in the side this year.

    Phillip Brennan is plenty good to fill his boots. However, if Davy has quit due to questions over him putting in sufficient training time I find this a major flaw on the part of management as Davy probably puts in more time than any other player training specifically for his own position, with the trainin done on his own.

    He's been at that for the last 2 to 3 years. As well as that, he was managing Liam Mellows (Senior hurling club in Galway) Sixmilebridge also in Clare last year. Knowing Davy he has probably taken on more teams to manage :D

    When he was putting his name forward for the Galway manager's job, he almost immeaditly said that he would withdraw in order to beat Ring's all time record for championship appearances for a GAA player. AFAIK he has to appear in 4 matches this year in order to break that record.

    IMO this "argument" will be settled long before the championship.
