I'm sure there are already a few threads already floating around there, but I can't get he search to work...

Basically, I rented this out tonight, mistakingly thinking that it might be 'alright.' It wasn't even alright. It wasn't even just a regular bad movie. It was plain abysmal, easily up there with the likes of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, and such wording is being generous I tell you.

I can't believe the amount of people that said this was decent. It was shocking. Simply shocking. Uwe Boll wouldn't even churn out a disasterpiece like this stinker, honest to god.

The only good part was the odd bit of semi-decent (notice the semi) fighting here and there, but that was generally, actually totally is a more apt word here, ruined by a generous layer of cheese.

I 'enjoyed' House of the Dead more then this.

    -5/10.

oh yeah it was awful alright, but for all its lack of coherent plot, dialog and action it made up with plentiful eye candy. which i deducted, was the point of the film.

This and most of the films of that ilk don't even deserve the server space on IMDB or the shelf space in HMV. Crocks, all of them. Except for Silent Hill...

But with a Halo movie passing lips, you never know.

Oh also, the guy who made DoA is making a Castlevania movie emot-argh.gif

Every time I hear of another videogame based film being released I come close to throwing up.
