Clontarf vs St Marys College today, I hadnt shot any of these ball sports so just looking for something out of the ordinary from what I usually shoot. Cold day and dying light as usual for the winter, shot mostly av and ISO 400 with a Sigma 70-200 f2.8. I have a 1.4x TC but it was a bit dark to use it. C&C welcome

I really like that last one.technically,it would be better if you could see their feet and a bit of ground, but for me ,it has a lot of soul, for want of a better word, and in my book, thats much more important than technical perfection

The last one has the most potential, but I think a crop along the top, and some smart sharpening of the jumping players could work with it quite nicely!

Thanks for the comments, I agree with you all. Good advice too. I printed out the last picture and turned it to portrait cropping off some of the top. One for the portfolio. :)

some good shots there, the only thin i would do is cropped tighter to get more impact from the shots.

    good work though
