Many years ago I went to Cappanalea, Co. Kerry for a week on a school trip and had a brilliant time. I was telling some friends about it recently and a group of us (about 5 or 10 of us) are interested in doing something along the same lines. The cappanlea trip involved 3 days of training in kayaking, orienteering, absailing etc. and then the last 2 days were trekking around the wilds of Kerry using the skills we'd learned and camping out for the night. I'm just wondering is it possible to do a similar trip for a small group of 5 or 10 in Cappanalea or does anyone have a suggestion as to anywhere else a trip could be organised to?

the cappanalea program of events for the year can be found here...

click on the + beside courses to expand the list. if i remember correctly, the dorms sleep 12, so a group of 10 would probably be more realistic/easier to arrange than 5.
