    stairmaster is a brand name and not a type of machine-they nake bikes, stepmills and steppers,,, best of luck

    Point taken, so I suppose what I'm actually looking for is a stepper. But not one of those sh*tty little ones for 50 quid in Elverys.

    I don't see what's wrong with the ones from elvery's to be honest. It's more compact and a lot cheaper and is effectively the same - i.e. it allows you to burn calories.
