Seriously I have a 50 euro reward out for this phone. Its not for the phone itself, but rather for the pictures on it which I have no other copies of.

So if anyone who was in downunder on Friday the 26 january who found a sagems v65 which was blue in colour and had Brian from Family Guy with a red background as a screen saver please PM me. As I have typed already, it is not so much the phone which is three to four years old and has the screen scratched a good bit but rather the photographs on it which cannot be replaced and which I do not have copies of. I know the onus was one me to get them onto a computer but I am terrible with them. If someone is good enough to hand it into the club the 50 euro will go into St. Anthony in my local church or what ever charity that person or anyone can suggest.

I have tried ringing the phone and unfortunatley it is turned off which I most certainly did not have it last as which does not bode well. Any one who has found it and has decided to keep it, let me tell you this, what goes around comes around.

I`m going to ring Downunder tomorrow, I can`t go in unfortunatley as I am working.

From what I've experienced in the past, I'd say try to get someone to call in for you if you can't call in yourself. People tend to be much more responsive face to face as opposed to over the telephone.

Good luck, I hope you find it, losing your phone sucks.

If you had something to hide you wouldn't make the photos the major highlight of the search though .. or would you ... ;)

You couldn't, unless you sold it to some stupid kid who had no sense.
its not worth that much. a new equivilant phone one is about 100.

Good luck finding it. I found a phone at oxagen last year and managed to get it back to the owner (and got to know a lady friend of his too) so all is not lost.

That was very good of you Spitfire666, I`m going to drop by tomorrow as a last ditch effort.

My network provider is Vodafone, could I go to them and get my phone barred so it can`t be used?. I`d also like to use my old number on the next one.

    cheers all.

yes, vodafone can block the sim inside the phone and transport your old number on to a new sim. give them a ring.

hope you find your phone though, have you tried ringing down under? maybe someone handed it in and the staff switched it off.

Lost my phone at a music festival before in Leitrim. Some bloke walked up to me about an hour later and says "here's you phone back". I was bewildered as to how he knew it was me and asked him how he did. Little did I remember that i had shaved my facial hair in the shape of a handlebar moustache, taken a pic and used it as my wallpaper.

He said he spotted me a mile away.
