I going for a Spurs win (I have to say that, otherwise the thought of getting up at 6am for my flight to Gatwick would be too horrible to bear)

Fulham to beat Stoke as well (went for that in work pools)

i dont know if that was on purpose or by accident, but kudos on a great joke :)

going for a spurs win. there will be some fire under our arses after wednesday nights capitulation.

i dont see bolton beating arsenal, but it would be nice. i dont see utd losing to portsmouth, but it would be nice :)

and i definately think blackburn could end an abysmal week with another lose.

Blackburn 1-0 up, Derbyshire with a good finish. Been caught narrowly offside a few times now too.

    McCarthy

Blackburn are cruising this. I was expecting more from Luton. Are they missing any players?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Apparently they've only 16 fit players, or so I think I heard...

They've only one win in their last eight.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Yes, they have several injuries and had to sell some decent players. (they have won 3 on thier last 17 games I think).

The commentator reffered to Kevin Foley, as a "local lad". Oh dear!

4-0, MGP with the goal of the game. What a sweet hit, I'd love to know what he's worth on the transfer market these days.

good win. i really did fear for them after the horrific week theyve had.

role on the rest of the games!

Another goal for Montella. Suprised someone like Arsenal didn't take him. He could do much better than Fulham.

    Boro not looking too clever.

    Bristol City force a replay.

That's still nowhere near as far over the line as Mendes' one was.

    /o/

what a goal, guh man rooney.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Wheres Lineker going with his "portsmouth defended well throughout?

Even just taking Utd's 2 goals the defending was terrible. For the first Rooney ran into the box with a defender jogging 5 yards behind him. Park (?) was just outside Rooney with no one anywhere near him ready to tap it in if Rooney missed it.

For the 2nd goal, if Ronney hadnt decided to take on the shot he had players free in the box. I think by scorign a great goal he disguised bad Pompy defending.

    Rooney's second was absolute genius.

Great goals from Rooney. Great goal from Larsson which amazingly was chalked off :(

What karma for Mendes. It would have been a dream come true for the commentators and headline writers if Pompey had gotten a result.
Deadly goal from Rooney. It's mad how much better he plays when he starts stickin a few in.
I thought Campbell and Primus did very well for the first hour or so but then just too many questions asked of them.

Yeah I was at the game, in the stret end. That was some finish. Mike Riley is the fussiest referee I have ever witnessed.
Oh and Evra is a cracking little player and Park is finally putting in decent performances. Let's hope it lasts.

I have 50 on Forest to win at 25-1 and another 50 on the draw at 9-1.

A fool and their money are easily parted, but I live and dream :)

Fair play to the beeb for showing this piece of ****. City vs Saints would of been been a better game to show, actually anything would of been a better game to show.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

Yep a dire game, Forest are pure and utter rubbish, its not a contest. Chelsea aren't even trying that hard.

Chucky I agree looks like the Man City vs S'ham is a good one alright 1-1 after 28 mins from the BBC Website.

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 15,001 ✭✭✭✭Pepe LeFrits

Ah but Chelsea - Forest has 'the magic of the FA cup'.
