Fans settling down to enjoy a Doctor Who US rental DVD were treated to scenes from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, UK tabloid The Sun reports.

According to the paper, "a manufacturing blunder led to footage of a maniac hacking off limbs appearing midway through an episode seen by hundreds of families". The Doctor Who episode in question was New Earth - the first installment of series two - dispatched by Netflix postal DVD rental service.

Looks like Quality control wasnt doing their jobs ! :D

It could be worse, they could have spliced in scenes from Torchwood. The gore, the swearing, the boredom!

A good few years back a friend of mine worked briefly in a video duplication place in London. He had to sit and watch the film as it duplicated, it would do a large amount of copies each time, but it had to be monitored in case there was any errors in the play back.

He saw The Adventures of Baron Munchausen 117 times in about 2 weeks.... I'd imagine that's what hell must be like.

Could be worse. They could have shown footage from Hillsborough1989 and referred to it as 'hooliganism'.
