I’ve seen this new renewable energy car driving around in towns on the Cote d’Azur recently. It is Italian designer stylish looking (photos in the website don’t do it justice), runs on electricity and charges itself up via a solar panel on the roof and a windmill! Range 50km. Top speed 50 km/h. Ideal urban vehicle. On days when there isn’t enough wind or sun, one can plug it into the mains to charge it up too.

The price is expected to be in the region of 15,000€ when it hits large scale production. The first 200 are being sold for 24,000€ to early adopters. The production of the vehicle is also carbon neutral.

They also have other products, including an electric sports car (that looks a bit like a Bugatti)!
