    Hi,

Not sure if this is in the correct board - mods please move if not.

I have been referred to a specialist as I have had some bumps (lypomas) for years, however recently some have become sore. I also suffer from skin burning sensation, which might be related.

I am booked in for surgery (GA) in a two weeks time as there are too many for LA surgery.

Reading about NF, many of the symptoms / items are similar and I am sure this is correct. I would be curious to know if there are any other NF sufferers out there or if you know much/anything about NF.

I have some concerns around the fact that all lumps will be removed, but that I have not been for a scan to see where some of the smaller ones are. I am also keen to try and work out if its NF1 or NF2 as I seem to have bits from both.

    Anyone?

I am also looking at this:

and will contact them in due course.

    Thanks.

you are indeed in the right place Axl, but remember we can't give you medical advice here, just "dealing with it" advice.

Good luck with the surgery, and let us know how you get on. Is that GA as in Georgia? One of my favourite places :)
