NTL logo and brabding gone

Haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere but all ntl logos have disappeared from all digital displays. Presume this is widespread and not just for me. Just loads of purple were once they stood

Gone for me except when I restart the box then it says the usual s***e with a lovely big NTL logo.

Yeah all branding gone on my stbs.Boots up with a blank white screen.
Noticed the logos removed from the MMDS system earlier in the week.

Yep, all mention of NTL gone for me as well - the help page now refers to "Customer Services" rather than "ntl Customer Services".

Presumably due to the forthcoming rebrand. NTL themselves (in the UK) will be dropping their brand on 14th February to make way for Virgin Media, so really now is the time for NTL Ireland to start toning down its "NTL" branding in preparation for its own rebrand. Then again, there are still adverts running in newspapers and on radio with the NTL name.

Seems the only boxes that have been de-branded are the di300s and the big old grey stbs. The newer small stbs still have the logos but not for too long I'm sure.

Mine's a Di4010, 2nd generation NTL (Langley) STB.

In further developments, from today the Chorus logo is appearing alongside the NTL logo in newspaper advertisements. Seems if nothing else, NTL got to keep the marketing department...

Branding is gone on our box too, hopefully they will redesign that awful EPG (and the awful colour scheme they have too) when they rebrand the boxes.. lets hope they still charge €5/mo for second digiboxes, €7.50 is rather steep IMO though nowhere near as steep as Sky's extortionate €15

It's gone now on both my smaller boxes. But I do notice they've fixed the subtitles with this release. They never worked on them!

Yeah, heard them myself alright. I wonder how long before they just drop the NTL/Chorus brands altogether.

I leave my box on all the time. I noticed this morning that no channels were working, so I reset it and it done a "upgrading your digital tv service" notice for 5 minutes.

I'd say the NTL: name removal's largely to do with the fact that they've no longer any right to be using it as a brand.

NTL/Virgin Media in the UK might have set time limit on it.

They've no rush to change the name of Chorus yet.

As mentioned before it seems to be just NTL: customers...NTL: UK are offically rebranding as virgin media on the 8th of Feb so I presume it has something to do with the NTL brand being removed completely.
