Ok, when I originally read this, the entry was $72 (around €55 I think), and then you get a $20 bonus.

Now looking at it, you have to lodge at least €72 (€80 if by bank transfer) and this is then converted into dollars (around $92 I think).

So are you then getting the $20 on top of that, meaning you'd have a balance of approximately $40 after you take away your entry fee?
    * Register as a member of the 888/Pacific on-line poker site.
    * Deposit a minimum of $92 Dollars (€72 Euro approx) into your new 888/Pacific Poker account.
    * Register into the Irish National Student Poker Championship 2007 on the 888/Pacific poker site – Total cost: $72.

If you follow these three easy steps you will be entered into the National Student Poker Championship 2007 and have a bonus of $20 in your new 888/Pacific account. This $20 bonus can then be used to play poker and hopefully win loads of cash and other prizes on 888/Pacific.com. It cannot be withdrawn and must be used on 888/Pacific.

I find this part confusing as it says you will have a bonus of $20... Of course I will though, as I deposited $92 and entry is $72.... I don't see where the bonus is here? It's just money left over from your deposit after you've paid to enter the NSPC?

Now, I'm not taking a dig at anyone; I realise the pokerireland.ie crew has put a lot of effort into this but I'm left not knowing exactly what the craic is...

    Cheers.

Edit: Could someone link me to where it has the times for play on Sat and Sun? Can't find it at all...

Yeah that is the bonus. They do a euro dollar 1:1 conversion for you.

What about the last sentence; where it says it cannot be withdrawn? How many hands do you have to play before you can withdraw it?

And what if you make that $20 into $100... Can you withdraw $100 or $80?

Or if you lost $10... Can you withdraw the remaining $10?

Not much of a bonus if you can't withdraw it in my opinion.

I'm sure you can withdraw it to be honest. It would be a bit weird if you couldn't. Have you tried?

call me old fashioned but when someone goes and gives me Euros as a direct sawp for Dollars
i would imagine that this is getting a bonus

then to make it sweeter, they pay all fees for dealers, rent of venue, insurances etc etc etc and i am sure there are other costs i couldnt even think of.

then the get someone to sit at a pc all day for days (and nights too no doubt) and have that guy running a rate of knotts just to get the whole thing working as professionally as they can,

now if all that is not a bonus these days, well i am confused

i saw the start time as being 12:00 hrs. on Saturday
actually now that i think of it, the email said,

"1st hand dealt at 12 sharp, thats when you need to be seated and ready to see your 1st hand, so get there early"
there is probably a registration queue, so i will getting there early, coz knowing this lad Stephen, he will be true to his word and shout for "shuffle up and deal" at precicely 12 mid-day
thats high-noon to you guys from the the USA

I take my proverbial hat off to this Stephen lad, he has pulled it off, when i really didnt think he could, i eat my words too, coz i said so too and now i take it all back. WELL DONE LAD.

You lodged €72. The prizepool is €72 per person.
You should have 20 in the account. There is the bonus. Plus all the stuff listed by Phil
