If you were down for the weekend I think you might like to have a read of Noah's entry in his journal. Powerful piece I think anyway. It's here: http://noahslark.com/

Dude, noah, you have to be a writer or a poet? If not, why? Very nice entry.

    And an artist.

    Watercolours are really great too.

I got goosebumps when I read it earlier. Amazing stuff. I think the whole board is turning green ;)

Can't wait to see more of the pictures, too...

Noah that is a wonderful piece of writing. I have goosebumps too. Your sense of wonder is contagious. I think I take places like that a little for granted, but not the experience or the company.

It was also the first chance I had to look around your site and at your work. I've been so crazy busy with work since then. Your photos are beautiful. I'll be happy if some day I can hope to even aspire to that level.

It was lovely to meet you. Hopefully I'll see you again soon. I'll try to catch up on Firefly beforehand :)

I visit that site quite regularly too and there are some shockingly good pictures there. The journal/blog stuff is incredibly honest which makes for a refreshing change to the usual sort of fluff most people put on their sites (me included). We should definitely do charleville again sometime - I was only there for a couple of hours and didnt get to talk to many people properly but have to say the atmosphere was excellent.

I'm a regular visitor to his site as well after meeting him for the first time last year at a boards photography meet. I was quite amazed at a lot of his work when I got home that evening. You would hardly know he was taking shots when you are around him but then they end up on his site, remarkable as ever.

Amazing site - awesome pictures (sorry I worked for a Yank company for a few years and I picked up some dodgy expressions :D ), powerful and moving.

Ah, geez... this place needs a virtual sandbox to stick one's head in ;) Now how on earth can I respond to that?

I'm overwhelmed (and verklempt, to use another dodgy Yank expression)..... thank you, more than I can say. I never felt like I really fit in w/ any group before even back home, let alone in another country -- but I truly can't wait to see you guys again. =)

    Tell me about it!!;)

He's a "stealth-shooter", ya never know when you're going to end up being the next "grey expectations" pic of the day! lol ;)

Im somone who *hates* having my pic taken, but alas with him Ive had to accept that its going to happen from time to time, and trust he will make my ugly mug look not as frightening as it seems to me in the mirror.

I am very proud of him though, and his work never fails to take my breath away.

Omg I love that castle so much, its been so long since I have been there. I used to live in Charleville view which was literally right next to the grounds, all the memories of playing in that giant oak tree near the grounds entrance just came flooding back. Thank you for that trip down memory lane, some of the happpiest times of my life.
