Hi there, anyone know anything about it ?... was asked about it , by person on the road with work ( nearly every day ). Is it a case that if you are sent off working away from your work place then you are entitled to one ?.
    thanks in advance ......................

If you work less then 4h you're not allowed any breaks; if you work 4 to 6 hours a day you are allowed a 15 min break; 6 to 8 hoursh a day you are entitled to a paid 15 min break and a 30 min unpaid break (lunch);8 to 10h add another paid 15 min break (this is from the top of my head).

Can't see it being different on such breaks just beacuse you're travelling.

Hi Nody, sorry .. not what hours you are entitled to, but actual " Lunch Allowance ".... which is basically your employer giving you a subsidy for food if you have to travel away or work away from the office.....

do they pay for your lunch when your in the office?

some companies pay a subsistence allowance if you're travelling - but I think you have to be a minimum number of miles from base.
