Following a few comments about C & C here , i just wonder how and when people give feedback on others photos .
I think constructive feedback can only help all of us , and more should be given where possible , but not sure of the benefits of pure negative feedback .

I try to have a look in a few times a day and see whats there. Constructive feedback is the way to go, photography is so subjective that its good to get other opinions and another view.

    Constructive feedback alright.

There's no point in saying "that's sh*te". That's being insulting. Give a reason why you don't like it. Say what you think could make it better. The photographer might have a different opinion, but hey, photgraphy is subjective. It's their photograph. They can do what they want.

I look on most C & C photos with awe...and the few that I have posted have gotten nice comments. I frequent other forums, and I think the same rule applies; if you can't say anyhting nice, don't say anything at all.

I try to see the good in most things really, then you have a starting point on where to improve and can work from there. If it doesn't work for me I might mention that, but could work for others. :)

...hummm, i point out the good things, then 'suggest' improvements, unless its woefully bad, sometimes blunt can work (only if someone else agrees tho)

At the end of the day getting some decent advice will help for future shots & maybe even help with the shot you posted up for the critique But as Al says, its your picture and if you like the way it was put together, then so be it.
