    Hi All,

Postman delivered an invoice for a shipment I recieved back in December. The invoice was for a COD delivery for goods coming from the US. Anyway they rang me on the morning of the delivery to advise that 63 Euros was owed for customs clearance and I would have to pay before delivery, one of the options was to pay the driver cash so I said I would have the exact amount ready for him. Driver called in the afternoon handed me the box and I handed him the cash ( he seemed a bit surprised as if he wasn't expecting cash), he took it and wrote paid on the docket and signed it and gave me the green copy, which I luckily held onto. The invoice was for the amount of cash I handed the driver.
So rang ups accounts this morning and they said they would get someone to call me.

Just wondering if the signed paperwork from the driver is enough proof of payment.

    Anyone any ideas?

    Snake ;)

Yep, should be, if the driver signed it then the money is his responsibility until he gets back to the depot. Once you have his name and signature I reckon you should be covered. Also the package was scanned and I presume you signed for it and entered into his handheld which is then put on computer when he gets back to the depot. Shouldnt be a problem
