I have a 8520 which is exactly the same guitar except with HH instead of HSH. Stonking guitar.

Ive decided to stop buying J-Customs except for really weird/rare/vintage/cool ones, but that is one great guitar there - about E1050 or something after shipping and tax.

Has been on u-box for well over a week now though.

Very, very good craftmanship. I just cannot say enough good things about J Customs, they're immaculate.

I had a horrible experience last night when I noticed a small chip on my JC. It's only tiny, and it's not on the face of the guitar, but when you first notice a chip, it's always nasty. No idea how on earth it happend though, and I suppose that's the real kicker. :(

Might try to touch it up with something though.

Leave it be, its all part of the guitar.

I know how you feel though, i got a little chip in my torquoise one, and the worst part was not knowing how the hell it happened. I was sure it was someone else playing or messing with the guitar when I was out. Nearly started giving out to people :D

But, guitars are meant to be played. I'd never relic a guitar, thats just stupid, but chips and dings are all part and parcel, even for the nicest most expensive guitars.

(you often hear stories about the 'mint' examples of old strats and '59 LPs. Guys in the know say they are mint, because they were the sh1t ones that never got played. And they're the ones that fetch crazy money, and are condsidered the 'holy grails' :D)

    Yeah, fair enough I suppose.

I think my Stealth is probably the only guitar I've got that doesn't have a little ding somewhere, and that guitar has probably gotten more knocks than any others. Some super strong finish on that baby, I tell you.

I'm forever stumped by this tbh, there's nobody who'd be playing with it but me.

Looking through Ikebe-gakki i found a few more

An RG8327(BBK) 7 string going for €1270 plus shipping and tax, quite pricey but very nice

    sub4.jpg

and this for €1070 plus extra's, similar to the one voodoo child put a pic up of

Ikebe arent export friendly, they only accept bank wire transfers, and have an export fee of about 10,000 yen, and a bank charge fee of 2,500 yen.

The cheaper of those two will be E1600+, the black one will be even more.
