Not a great exhibition but worth going just to see Rory's and Tony's guitars.

I went on Friday and thought it was freaking awesome, so many cool retro guitars. I was not impressed by the custom painted Fenders though. What a waste!

TBH, they needed to get rid of the crappy painted Fenders and get some revolutionary stuff in there. There were no floyd roses, no 5 string basses or any other extended range instruments (barr the single 7 string), no active pickups or preamps, no Explorers. It could have been fantastic. That said, it seems to have been quite a success so hopefully they'll have something like that again.

They made an exhibition based on what they could get their hands on, rather than tried to get their hands on what would have made a good exhibition.

Was good to see it happen, but a missed opportunity.

I missed it. Not particularly bothered from the reports here.

It was worth seeing if only for Rory's guitar.

That was a sacred event for me.

When in NYC i saw an old Danelectro that Jimi Hendrix himself played, as well as George Harrison among others.

I don't think that will be out done anytime soon:)

Well, there was one of Hendrix's guitars at this show. And come on man, Rory's Strat! The real one. None of this reproduction crap!
