    Hi All,
    I was out in Trim and Rathbeggan(sp?) lakes this morning and took some shots, these are two that i had a play with and thought i would post for some comments.

    Two nice shots there brookie,well done.i REALLY like the one of the goat(?) though,the colous of it's fur is great.great capture.With the other one,i would have tried panning to the right to get more of the river in,but that might not have been possible perhaps from the vantadge point you had.but it has some great movement in the water and i like the silhouettes of the far bank and trees.

    Yeh, I really like the goat, it's eye looks weird! Was that the actual colour of it?

    I like the second one too, think it's lacking detail in the river, maybe needed a longer exposure (I know you had to balance between the light reading for that and the sky though). Also, I think you made the best of the angle, you have a fair bit of the river, yet you still managed to keep the ruins in the frame.

    Nice work!

    EDIT: Just had a 2 second play around with it in photoshop, I brought up the brightness of the river and adjusted the contrast and blue balance of it to compensate and it looks brilliant! Give it a shot!

    thanks for the comments, the oats eye colour is unchaged, i just selected this and inverted then desaturated the rest of the pic. the natural colour really punches through
