XBox Live and Eircom

    Right, usually use my 360 with my NTL connection but the girfriend has eircom and it won't seem to work. It's a Netopia 3347WG. Any ideas on how to change the settings so that the thing will work?

    Change the firewall setting to low

    as above change the firewall setting to low .

    also go into the test connection on the 360 and see if your nat is open , if it's not have a look here to give you some tips on how to do it.

    copy and paste this into your browser : http://192.168.1.254/ - that will bring you to your modem settings

    go into expert mode (on left hand side of screen)

    click on configure and then connection

    at the bottom of the screen will be UPnP with a green arrow ticked beside it - unclick this - i.e turn this off

    click on 'save and resart connection'

    your modem should now allow you to run xboxlive etc on it


    NOW FOR THE UMTEENTH TIME IN OVER A YEAR - WILL SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THIS SOLUTION A STICKY
