It looks as if Shane has suffered some sever damage to his knee. In all probability he will miss a lot of the 6 Nations. I guess this puts an end to the Trimble Vs Hickie debate, with Trimble on the right?

I guess we'll hear soon. Hope it's ok and nothing serious.

I guess just going on what Cheika said after the Match; I don't know a lot about knee injuries other than they seem to keep people out for a while. Yeah I think for sure Wales and France will be write-offs but we'll see. I hope your right Dave, but I'm worried.

Only had the quick look during the "highlights" too and it didn't look great. I'd agree with 3-4 weeks first guy, maybe more.

Big loss for all parties, time for Hickie and Trimble to play head t heqad for that undecided wing burth it seems.

Im pissed off with that result another typical Jeckyl and Hyde by us....the press ll love that!

Stuffed up front I here as IM away still and had to rely on phoine calls....
Lucky if we get through in 4th now?

Wasps may l;ose away to Calvisano which will be ok and Ospreys may lose away to Sale but.....

Stade will get bonus at home to Calvisano Id say. So of 3 results that knock Leisnter to 5th or worse one is very likely possible 2 or worse still out to 7th!!!

"Away" to munster is the best result we can hope for now Id say !!! well need Croker for that one!

Very little chance of that, I reckon, Diamond. To be honest I was P1ssed off at Hook last week for saying Leinster had little chance of winning the H-CUP, but I can see what he means - It's Toulouse/ Munster all over again.

Still I'm more annoyed about the injury to Horgan. These are the things you don't want going wrong before a 6 Nations campaign.

(Very little chance of a 4th place, that is)

Terrible ref, missing forward passes, missing players killing the ball, not using the yellow enough. Apparentely if you tackle a player backwards its now your scrum straight away.

Also the Gawl last try wasn't a try, it was a knock-on before the line and he didn't ground it properly afterwards.

Thought it was also harsh on calling obstruction for Kearney's try.

Following a scan today (Saturday), it has been confirmed that Leinster and Ireland winger Shane Horgan has sustained cartilage damage to his left knee.

Horgan sustained the injury during Leinster's Heineken Cup pool loss to Gloucester on Friday night.

It is estimated that the injury will require a four to six week recovery period.
