Otto stock car parts (spurious brands) for a range of German cars incl BMW, VW etc. They have an outlet in Ranelagh (near corner Sandford Road/Anna Villa).

Also Breakers yards in Ringsend (near Library).

AFAIK OTTO in Ranelagh have moved to Tallaght, good and all as they were.

Try the scrap yard near the red cow roundabout. I think it's call Kinsella's. It's opposite the red cow inn heading in towards the city from the roundabout.

There is a pretty good scrap yard / breakers in Dun laoghaire, already mentioned on boards, the search function, like Google is a powerful force in the right hands

I have used these guys a good few times over the years, pretty ok to deal with, they also have a much bigger yard up north so if the parts needed aren't on site, he can get them for you in a couple of days.

I tried many scrap yards around red cow and greenhills and no body has what i need. I went to otto and they are cheaper than the other somara crowd.i will try out dun loaire and the gsf place. The otto price is 320 inc vat for the whole front eg bumpers, lights, indicators, grill and bonnet.then i have to pay to get it sprayed.thanks for the help guys.

Look under car dismantlers in the goldenpages.ie
They have their address where they are!

i went to dunloaire and the guy said 155 for all the parts whereas it was 320 from otto and 355 from somara.the scrap yard option is better as its nearly half price:D
Does anyone know a cheap place to get a bonnet and a small part f the bumper sprayed and repaired. How much should it cost approx.thanks
