I'm wading through the instruction book that came with this camera, I was just curious, is there a bulb option I'm not seeing somewhere?

If you're talking about the 350d, you spin the little wheel yoke for shutter speed until it goes to "bulb", should be after 30.

Set it on M first and then spin the wheel ;)

Oh great guys, thanks, I was trying to set it via Tv. On the subject of bulb exposures, do I have to hold my finger on the button the whole time? I don't suppose there's a 'digital cable release' available?

There is a lockable release available, otherwise you hold your finger on the button.

When you're a label whore like me you have to have the originals...that and I just didn't think of it ;)

I remember reading a DIY shutter release on the net for canon's. The thing would cost about 4 euros to build.

And no, I dont have the link...but google should.

All parts bought today, except (Stupid me ...) the necessary cable, and some rubber grommits for the exit points from the box. Looking forward to building this baby for some long exposure tripod experimentation!
