Unnamed channels in scan of 19.2E

Quick question for a bit of a n00b to non Sky sat stuff.

I recently pointed a dish at 19.2E and did a scan. Squillions of channels found. Now my question is: there are between 20 and 30 that came up with no name and no network information. Instead they have a name like PR212, PR254, PR255 etc. Is this because they aren't transmitting names or because the sat box may not have the latest firmware.

A lot of them are encrypted so I can't see them, but looking on various websites at transponder information, it would appear that many of these are live stations (and not tests).

    Thanks.

Most of them are Premiere channels I would guess - very few Premiere channels have their name set, dunno why - to discourage hackers because it makes it harder to find them maybe?

If you wish to find out a name and frequency of a TV or Radio Ch
just go to lyngsat.com or kingossat.net:D:D

    Foreign sat?

Probably ppv channels or sub channels (yellow button if you have a dreambox and using some softcams and latest with latest updates).

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

    Thanks guys.

Most, but not all, are Premiere as I found by cross-referencing them against various sites (lyngsat etc).

I'll just manually edit the names so if I decide not to delete them altogether. :)

Mostly equivalent to SkyBoxOffice etc. Pay TV channels so no use.
