I'm usually fairly forgiving of players but I get the chills when Gardner plays-I just have little confidence in the man.
He seems like an amiable fellow but the potential just hasn't developed-very left footed,too casual and unbalanced.
I like the sound of this "commanding" 28 year old Portuguese centre-half....then again they said that about the portly Jorge Costa arriving at Charlton.....

Also said of one Ramon Vega Although was favourite description of him was "Equally dangerous in both areas"

Back to Gardiner. Don't think he's all that bad but is prone to major lapses of concentration and for that reason will never be a regular first teamer in any premiership side.

seeing gardner on the team sheet actually makes me shiver.
i have no faith in him whatsoever.

ah, Gardner is no so bad. i think he's a better option than Davenport was.


he's had some good games for us and he'd improve if he got a prolonged run in the first team.

I wonder will this new Rocha dude start tomorrow against Southend...
