Hey all, not sure if this is the best place to ask, but sure you can ban me if it isn't

I'm looking to make a band logo along the lines of any Death Metal band you'll find (example 1, example 2). Now I'm well aware that I won't get exactly what I'm looking for in font format and will have to tweak it etc, so looking for somewhere to start from is what I'm after.

I found 3 that are getting there and you might be able to work with them some.

Drax Luma, Dark Garden and Sepulcra.
