This will bring a good sized field - Id expect at least 70 and possibly 100. Should hopefully be a quality tourney.

Don't worry Anto - you won't get much of it. You will survive to first paying position with a 10BB stack for most of the night, before finally getting knocked out to a three outer on the river. This won't bother me at all.

at the 3000/6000 level, anto had 54,000 chips, jeff had 183,500.
i think my performance is better.

dont think i'll be playing this tonight, 100 is a bit much considering this will take some crapshooting to win. home game anyone?? no?? oh well..

    Jeff,

All levels from 25/50 upwards are included. 25 min clock reverting to 30mins @ the 2k/4k level. Its a double chance with 3.5k + the other 3.5k when you go broke on TPTK.

    Nice result, WP GG etc.

Result? Wes did you win this? If so well done.

HJ how did you finish up? Liam Flood also after he took the last of my chips.

Im not convinced at the structure - 25 odd players left and the average stack was just under 19k with the blinds @ 1/2k level.

Damn im still steaming at my QQ hand from just before the second break.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 463 ✭✭ullu

Liam Flood got knocked out just before the final table, he pushed for 31k with the blinds at 2k/4k when it was folded to him on the button. I called him from the big blind with A7o, he had J3d, an ace on the flop minimised any potential nerves.

well done bottom feeder you were playing pretty solid all night was sure it was between you and Hectorjelly once hector doubled up with queens early on. nice bday present all the same if thats how it is im looking forward to my bday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,696 ✭✭✭Hectorjelly

I finished 2nd. Enjoyed it but the structure was crazy. Also hand for hand with a 20 min clock is madness IMO! Well played bottom feeder, you deserved to win it.

yea noel won this, had a very good run on the final table, got some nice cards..

when it was heads up with myself and hectorjelly i was getting a bit worried but when i hit a poker of nines and trip queens one hand after another, sort of put my nerves at ease..... [sry hectorjelly]

I'll put you out of your misery, I had AQd. I was fairly certain you had a pair (99-JJ) as I felt the raise was too strong for a higher pair or AK. As that was the case, I was willing to gamble to get a stack or go bust, given the prohibitive nature of the structure.

You did well not to tilt after that all right,Yea i will be in sp tonight again. On a good run,Won monday 2 weeks ago and last sunday so poker gods have been good to me of late, might see you in there

Thanks mate. As you know i had just built a have decent stack from being almost out at the start of the final table. I hate Jacks(hence the name) and didnt fancy going up against ak/aq at the time as i thought i had pushed my luck on the last hand. The only thing that bothered me is the thought you had 10's or less so your post helps a lot. Good luck mate
